About Travelscene Echuca – Our Staff
We fully recognise that with a business such as ours in the travel industry, we are only as good as the staff we employ. As a small personal company, we pride ourselves on the calibre of our employees, with an emphasis on professionalism and personal service.
The longevity of individuals employed by Travelscene Echuca gives stability and continuity of standard and service. The staff are motivated, professional and experienced travel consultants who are well travelled and continue to expand their travel experiences every year.
All staff are local girls who are familiar with the travel requirements of local people but who also manage a client base from large to very large corporates.
Mrs Justine Apps
Managing Director
Justine, together with her husband Christian Apps, have become the new owners of Travelscene Echuca since 1st July 2008. Justine was originally employed 13 years ago as a 17 year old because of her high level of motivation and her natural abilities. In her time in the travel industry she has gained a high level of experience and handles all facets of travel with great confidence and her attitude to client satisfaction is beyond reproach. Justine has travelled to Canada, Europe, Asia including China, America and throughout Australia. Justine also juggles a young family and her passion for travel is what has driven her to be the proprietor of her own travel agency.
Ms Allison Yeates
Accounts/Administration
Allison has been employed by Travelscene Echuca since 1996, being part time over the last couple of years due to her young family. She has experience in arranging specialist group bookings having escorted a sporting group through America for 3 weeks. She has travelled through Asia, Europe, the Pacific and throughout Australia. Allison has a legal and banking background and is responsible for the accounting and financial administration of the business.
Miss Ashley Campbell
Senior Travel Consultant
Ashley was employed by Travelscene Echuca 3 years ago coming from gaining experience as a consultant in Melbourne. Since joining the business she has escalated into a senior international consultant managing the travel requirements for the most complicated travel itineraries and is meticulous in her work.
Miss Alex Smith
Travel Consultant
Alex was employed by Travelscene Echuca as a junior in June 2005 and has undertaken the required training in the many aspects of the travel industry. Alex is responsible for handling the travel requirements of our many corporate clients. She brings a youthful perspective to the office although displays experience in her work beyond her years.
Miss Casey Anderson
Travel Consultant
Casey joined us at Travelscene Echuca in early 2008 and is currently undertaking training in travel whilst working full time managing domestic and corporate bookings and general office administration and has the confidence of all staff with her being the first point of call for all clients and customers.
Mrs Louise Feiss
Senior Travel Consultant
Louise has been at Travelscene Echuca since 2000. She is a very committed travel consultant and is experienced in both international and domestic destinations. Louise has arranged specialist group tours to Japan and has also travelled to Hawaii, America, New Zealand and is a Northern Territory expert. Louise has recently returned to work part time after having her second child….we knew she couldn’t stay away from us too long!!!!!
Ms Sasha Baxter
Senior Travel Consultant
Sasha began at Travelscene Echuca in late 2003 after returning to the country from STA travel in Melbourne where she gained experience as a leisure and corporate travel consultant. Sasha has extensively travelled through Asia, Europe, America and Australia and is currently on maternity leave as of January 2009 after having her second child.
Mr Tod Collins
Groups Consultant
Tod, having been the previous owner of Travelscene Echuca for 30 years, still keeps his connection with the agency as a groups consultant and tour director for industry based specialist tours through America, Canada and Europe.
